“Ennui”

I created this work as a way voicing my frustrations with the way that Parkinson’s disease is rapidly stealing my ability to speak. It began with just the one word, “loner”; I decided that it was not the right choice and so started thinking of others that would best describe the feelings of isolation that can affect Parkinson’s sufferers. I consider myself lucky to have art as a way of communicating,

    I don’t think I can truly imagine the frustrations the Damned Parkinson’s are exacting on you but your “Ennui” art does help me understand a little more….. Keep looking for the silver lining, very best thoughts & regards ~ John
