David studied visual art at Southern Cross University, NSW. and graduated with a bachelors degree with honours. BVA(Hons).
In 2017 he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. This has had a profound effect on both his outlook on life, and his art practice. Rather than call his style of painting as abstraction, David prefers to describe his work as being a sort of Elemental Representation. His use of colour, when combined with metaphor and symbolic placement, tell his personal story.
